Taiwanese company Prolimatech has apparently decided to bank on the fame that its Megahalems cooler has brought and now it is launching a similar cooling solution. The new model is using the same overall design concept, but it’s just smaller and comes with less heatpipes.

The new cooling solution is officially called Prolimatech Mini Megahalems and it features only four heatpipes with a 6-millimeter diameter each.

Mini Megahalems is specifically targeting systems with crammed cases and users on a tighter budget.

The cooler comes with 40 aluminum heat dissipating plates that amount to a total of 3600 square centimeters of heat dissipating surface.

Prolimatech’s new cooling solution ships with mounting kits for AMD’s AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ and FM1 sockets and also with kits for Intel’s LGA1155, LGA1156 and LGA2011 sockets.

Pricing is set at $30 (24 EUR) and the new cooler is reportedly comparable, but inferior to Prolimatech’s own Panther cooler.
