Nokia has already made official its first ever handset to run under the MeeGo operating system, the Nokia N9, and the company announced that it will not launch another similar device on the market, though it seems that enthusiasts are already dreaming at a successor for it.

The Nokia N902 concept phone is one handset that might be able to easily win the heart of any user out there, that's for sure, especially if it came to the market with features and capabilities superior to Nokia N9.

A dual-core application processor that was clocked in at 1.2GHz would be one of the most appealing features of the new concept device, but it won't be the only one to make it stand in the crowd.

The concept device would also include a 12-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with Carl Zeiss optics and with auto focus, as well as a high-resolution 4-inch touchscreen display.

However, the Nokia N902 would have more to offer when it came to the storage space users would have at their disposal, as well as to the connectivity options available for them.

On the outside, the device resembles the Nokia X7 smartphone that landed on shelves with Symbian Anna on board only a few months ago.

The body is also incredibly thin at 9.2mm, which adds even more appeal to the device.

As stated above, the mobile phone maker announced a while ago that it did not intend to bring to shelves another MeeGo-powered smartphone, and that the N9 was the last one in the series.

This means that the N902 remains only in the concept area for the time being, though there is also the possibility that it would arrive on shelves under another name, with another mobile operating system on board.

With Nokia set to migrate to Windows Phone completely, the emergence of a N902 running under Microsoft's platform should not come too much as a surprise, that's for sure.

In the meantime, however, have a look at the concept phone, which emerged over at MyNokiaBlog, coming from designer shihuzaan.
