PC maker Medion has pulled the veil off its latest ultracompact notebook that features a touch-enabled display. The device has been dubbed the Medion The Touch 10.

The notebook is pretty lightweight, with only 1.28 kg / 2.82 pounds you need to carry around. It features a 10-inch widescreen LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

Medion offers Windows 8 with the device, with the possibility of upgrading to Windows 8.1 for free. Microsoft Office Home & Student also comes with the package. The ultracompact notebook embeds an ADM A4-1200 processor and ADM Radeon HD 8180 graphics. Storage-wise, there’s 500 GB of hard drive storage.

Other functionalities include Wi-Fi, HDMI and VGA out, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0. Medion has bundled an HD camera as well and an integrated clickpad. The audio system is also a pretty worthy one thanks to the two Dolby Advanced Audio v2 speakers.

Those interested can go ahead and purchase the ultracompact notebook exclusively from ASDA online and in retail stores for £249 / $400 / €291 a pop.
