Gaming enthusiasts with a predilection for mobility will be happy to know that PC maker Medion has just pulled out of the bag a new notebook computer designed to suit their needs, dubbed the Erazer X7611.

The notebook is only 23 mm / 0.86 inches thick and its frame is enclosed in aluminum, so it’s quite a feast for the eyes.

Under the hood, Medion has slipped an Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor combined with 1GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 765M Direct X GPU with 2048MB of GDDR5 memory. Apart from proper specifications, the gaming lappy enjoys the perks of Dolby Home Theatre on the inside.

The processor is normally clocked at 3.4 GHz, but since it supports Turbo Boost technology, the levels can be increased to 3.4GHz. Furthermore, the notebook offers a 17.3-inch LED backlit screen with a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a matte finish.

As for storage, the Erazer bundles 1000GB of storage in the form of an HDD plus a smaller 128GB mSATA SSD so users can store everything. The notebook ships with Windows 8.1 out of the box and is currently available throughout Europe for £1,049 / €1,272 / $1,738.
