The Median PMP is decent enough to have its own style

Median might sound unfamiliar to most of you, and to be honest, it doesn't ring a bell to me either. The C-10 portable media player features a mere 10.5mm thickness, but its features compensate the small size.

Besides being so small, the device can actually deal with most of the file formats on the market. It can play both music and videos and comes packed with built-in 8GB flash memory.

However, if the player's storage capacity proves to be insufficient, the internal space can be easily expanded via an SD card slot. Unfortunately, these are all the official details about the player, without any precise dimensions of the screen display, just some info that mentions a 260k color TFT LCD screen.

As for the player's audio capabilities, it is covered by SRS WOW 3D sound effects. Among other features, the player can deal with mp3 and mp4 file formats. Besides that, the manufacturers add an integrated FM tuner, a voice recorder, as well as direct encoding.

If you're interested in the pricing and availability details of the Median player, sadly, there is no word on how much this is going to cost, or when it will be available on the market. But, hey, if it matters in any way, you should know it's going to be available in various color versions, of silver, pink, green, blue and black.

Now, there are some rumors that say Median attempts a real market duel with the giant Sandisk (namely with the Sansa View PMP) concerning the thickness feature. However, truth is the Median PMP dimensions are nothing compared to Sansa's View 8mm, not to mention View's 16GB storage capacity and bonus options. Overall, competition can be sometimes really motivating! Or not?
