The recent update for Media Player Classic Home Cinema includes several repairs designed to improve the overall functionality of the application.

Build 1.7.3 of the player includes fixes for glitches relating to subtitles, one of them covering the blur filter that would be applied improperly on some parts of the sub-picture.

On the same note, the developer announces that the problem with subtitle entries missing (depending on how they overlapped in time) has been eliminated.

Additional changes present in the current version refer to visual bugs occurring on the status bar and the missing “Debug Shaders” dialog icon when using translation.

Another important modification refers to DVD favorites, where the position of the DVD would not be restored.

New in this revision is the availability of the Display tooltip, showing the hardware decoder when hovering the mouse cursor over the status message.
