Media Player Classic Home Cinema has just moved to a new beta, 1.6.5, bringing to the table a few new features, improvements and plenty of fixes.

First on the list of modifications is a new keyboard shortcut that can trigger the subtitles downloader dialog. Also new is the fact that VobSub subtitles can be loaded by selecting the SUB file or by dragging and dropping it.

The fresh revision has support for UTF8 without BOM and it improves the way it remembers files or DVDs in a list by keeping often opened media instead of pushing it out of the list.

A set of issues have been repaired with this release. Among them, there is the problem with FLAC playback in the case of some files and PCM audio not playing (FLVSplitter). The developer also eliminated a number of crash bugs, thus increasing the stability of the application.

The entire list of modifications is available on this page. Download Media Player Classic Home Cinema.
