U.S. Cellular, the seventh largest mobile operator in the US, has just launched a new media album service for its customers, called "Online Album." The service uses NewBay Software's LifeCache solution and allows users to upload and store their photos online, via their mobile devices. 

With Online Album, U.S. Cellular subscribers can not only easily manage their uploaded content, but they can also create personalized photo blogs that can be shared, in a secure way, with friends and/or family. 

To benefit (for free) from the features of the new LifeCache-powered service you must be a user of U.S. Cellular's Picture Messaging. An online registration is required, which can be done via the U.S. Cellular official website.
