After confirming that Medal of Honor: Warfighter is the next installment in its military first person shooter series, Electronic Arts and developer Danger Close have now posted a gameplay video, as well as a batch of screenshots for the game, alongside an actual release date.

The 2010 reboot of the Medal of Honor franchise delivered a realistic shooter that focused on Tier 1 Operators acting in the Middle East.

With its sequel, subtitled Warfighter, EA and Danger Close are trying to portray other types of missions achieved by Tier 1 forces like Spec Ops, Navy SEALs, or SAS.

We’ve already heard a few details in the last few weeks, but now the two companies have presented an actual video and some screenshots from the upcoming game.

As you can see above and below, Medal of Honor: Warfighter relies heavily on stealth tactics but doesn’t forget to add plenty of explosions and intense moments.

The upcoming game also received a release date of October 23 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Until then, check out the trailer above and the screenshots below.
