Medal of Honor Vanguard Hints (Wii)

Time for another WWII-based shooter, Wii style

Medal of Honor: Vanguard is an installment in the long-running Medal of Honor series of World War II first-person shooters. It was developed by Electronic Arts' Los Angeles studio for release on the Wii and PlayStation 2. Players play as Corporal Frank Keegan, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Keegan is later transferred to the 17th Airborne Division after Operation Market Garden, and before Operation Varsity.

Vanguard's features are similar to that of Medal of Honor: Airborne. Players are able to customize their weapons, such as adding a scope to a M1 Garand and a larger ammo drum for a Thompson, although these upgrades are only available on certain levels missions. At the start of some of the levels, players parachute onto a battlefield, and they can roughly designate where they land. Players who land at certain points in a level will be able to pick up weapon upgrades and ammunition. Missions can be played out in different ways depending on where you land and which

weapons you obtain.

Hint - Weapon Power-Ups

Weapons can be upgraded in a stage if you find a specific power-up. Although you cannot carry the upgrade from one stage to another, it will benefit from your weapons within that stage.

Mission 1 - Weapon Upgrade
Parachute onto the western cliff and look for the upgrade adjacent to the boxes, near the searchlight.

Mission 2 - Weapon Upgrade
Look for this upgrade on the counter of a small building at the entrance of the courtyard.

Mission 6 - Weapon Upgrade
Parachute into the western tower (the one emitting green gas) and look for the upgrade on the top floor.

Mission 10 - Weapon Upgrade
Inside the tunnel after the first 88, the upgrade can be found behind a box at the end of the first corridor.
