Mechromancer DLC Shows Possible New Locations for Borderlands 2

Intrepid gamers have quickly looked through the files included in the recent Mechromancer character-based downloadable content for Borderlands 2 and they have found a number of hints that at least one major new location is being added to the shooter.

One of the Achievements that were added to the game but no yet activated talked about finding “all named locations in Oasis and the surrounding Pirate’s Booty areas.”

The Oasis will probably be a desert location and it seems that players will be able to find a host of new items there and a new vendor which will offer high-level gear as long as players are able to pay him in Seraph Crystals.

The Mechromancer DLC has proven controversial because some players blamed it for disappearing Golden Keys and reset Badass Ranks, but Gearbox says that there’s no connection between the bug and the new character that was added to the shooter.
