The delicious dishes were served to people in Paraguay

It pains me to say so, but the truth is that most people cannot be bothered to spend hours on end reading lengthy studies about how man-made pollution is harming the planet. Then again, such papers can prove rather tedious, so I can't really blame these folks.

The good news is that green group the World Wildlife Fund has come up with one really wacky and surprisingly efficient way to get people to start paying more attention to what is happening to our good old Earth because of climate change and global warming.

Long story short, the organization has recently teamed up with chef Rodolfo Angenscheidt and an ad agency dubbed Oniria\TBWA, and has served meals cooked on hot pavement to people in Asunción, the capital city of Paraguay.

These meals comprised meat and eggs (yes, I know, it sounds very yummy), and were cooked on an improvised “stove” that was no more and no less than a collection of white lines drawn on the ground, as shown in the picture above.

According to the World Wildlife Fund, the goal of this initiative was to raise awareness of how climate change and global warming aren't just a reason for politicians and lawmakers to fight with one another, but phenomena that affect each and every one of us.

“We needed something impactful to bring attention to this very serious matter. And it is working; everyone is talking about it in Paraguay and most importantly learning which are the little changes we can make to help our planet,” Camilo Guanes, with Oniria\TBWA commented on this project, as cited by Trend Hunter.
