One is an idol for stick-thin fashionistas and the other is so famous for her curves that rumor had it at one point she even took out a hefty insurance policy on her backside. Yet weird as it may sound, Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez have more in common that being just female superstars known for their impeccable fashion sense: they also share the same dress size (story via The Cut).

Mrs. Beckham, also known as Posh, is currently featured in a special edition of 10 Magazine, together with her husband David. Among the many things the two talk about, Victoria says she plans to be designing for another 20 years, that she’s determined to wear ballet shoes more instead of high heels all the time, and that she recently discovered that she and Jennifer Lopez wear the same dress size. She doesn’t say what size that might be but it’s clear that it can’t be a 0.

“The designer also let the magazine into a secret... that she and Jennifer Lopez have exactly the same dress size: ‘My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore. And who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!’” The Cut writes, citing straight from 10 Magazine. As we also told you a while back, Jennifer caused quite a stir when she put in a public appearance in a white dress from the Victoria Beckham collection, effectively putting to rest all rumors that the line was only for incredibly and almost impossibly thin women like Posh herself.

As a matter of fact, this is not the first time that Victoria insists that her dresses are not as impractical for the regular woman as fashion critics would make them seem – all considerations on price aside, that is. This is neither a first in terms of her denying that she’s not a size 0 and, most importantly, that she’s not slim because she doesn’t eat or sticks to unhealthy diets, as the media speculated on more than one occasion. In fact, just recently, Mrs. Beckham was saying her enviable figure is the result of keeping very active and multi-tasking, combined with lots of salads and an espresso in the morning.

“I’m not going to lie – I’m not one of those people that says, ‘Oh, I eat hamburgers.’ I eat salad. And I start off every day with a double espresso. Then I get on the running machine and I run like a bat out of hell,” Victoria was saying back in November, as we also reported at the time.
