With their 2008 range of products, McAfee is going to deliver security solutions to PC, web and mobile users. So, as they call it, this is a triple play protection, spanning PC, web activity and mobile phone in security suites: McAfee? Total Protection? and McAfee Internet Security Suite.

So, what are you going to get? Well, it's standard protection all the way - you will be guarded against dangerous websites, and protected against online threats. Also, the products will help avoid phishing - they haven't stated exactly how, but if the software will take down any keylogger, then it's obvious. With their products you will be protected from attacks on your mobile phone, and just like other security solutions, these ones update themselves continuously and automatically to help keep things safe.

"We have trumped the competition once again.", said Todd Gebart, Senior Vice President and General Manager at McAfee Consumer, Mobile and Small Business. "In addition to a new and unique anti-threat technologies and the only integrated safe search and surf technology for PCs, our 2008 consumer security suites also offer protection for mobile phones. It's a great triple play!", he concluded.

So what can you get from them? Well, there's McAfee Total Protection (12 in 1 proactive protection designed for families) McAfee Internet Security Suite (only a 10 in 1 security service) and last but not least - Mcaffee VirusScan Plus (a 6 in 1 proactive security service). See more info here.

Also, Mcafee delivers a SiteAdvisor (as they say) offers consumers proactive protection for 95% of the trafficked web, based on detailed proprietary testing of the net. This will help against spyware, spam, viruses and online scams.

As for the security module for mobiles - this is going to be really useful, since mobile threats have become a reality. See more info here. It's good to see that the good guys don't let the bad ones get the upper hand and that they're properly assessing threats.
