The Android McAfee antivirus application has just received a major update on Google Play Store, which brings lots of new features and improvements.

The official changelog of the update mentions a new feature called CaptureCam, which allows users to silently take pictures of the person holding your lost device and email the photo to you along with the phone’s location. Several other new features have been included in the latest update. You can check them out below:

- S.O.S - Automatically saves the last location of your device before it runs out of battery; - Wi-Fi Protection - Alerts you of non-secured Wi-Fi connections; - Introducing Free and Premium versions without requiring reinstallation; - Multi-User App Profile; - Backup/Restore Operations over Wi-Fi.

You can now download McAfee Antivirus & Security for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
