McAfee, the producer of famous security solutions such as antiviruses, firewalls and antispam tools, announced a deal with Jamcracker, a software distribution platform that might help the company reach new clients from every corner of the world. Because Jamcracker is described as an on-demand services delivery company, it is able to provide any software you want bundled with any other solution. For example, you can buy McAfee's latest antivirus product either as a stand-alone tool or bundled with another downloadable application to be protected by the security
program.
"We are pleased to be working with Jamcracker and their service-delivery partners to offer McAfee Total Protection solutions for small businesses around the world," said Todd Gebhart, SVP and GM for McAfee Consumer, Mobile and Small Business. "This partnership allows communications and IT service providers to combine Total Protection with other essential IT services and business productivity applications to create unique on-demand solution offerings that fill the underserved needs of small and mid-size businesses."
McAfee has been always interested in new partnerships that could help the security company expand its solutions and bring new money to the safes. However, in comparison with its rivals Symantec or Kaspersky, McAfee was a little bit abandoned by the media and was rarely brought in the spotlights.
"We are pleased to be able to offer market-leading solutions, like McAfee Total Protection for Small Business, to our service-delivery partners," said Steve Crawford, vice president of marketing for Jamcracker. "The ability to bundle and resell value-added on-demand applications from McAfee and others without making significant technology investments is a powerful value proposition for our solution provider partners, service resellers, and ultimately for small-medium businesses."
As you probably know, McAfee is one of the top security companies currently on the market so new partnerships with firms similar to Jamcracker are extremely useful for the firm because they can help reach new consumers from every corner of the world.
