It has been but a month since the initiation of the beta phase for Falcon and the Santa Clara-based company has announced that the security products of the suite are generally available. Aiming
to be a customizable security solution that will integrate with specific consumer needs, the Falcon security package is structured around the basic core version of McAfee VirusScan Plus. McAfee PC Protection Plus, McAfee Internet Security and McAfee Total Protection build up the company's security solutions to a conglomerate platform.

Delivering automated anti-virus, anti-spyware, hackerand wireless network protection bundled with anti-spam and anti-phishing features, firewall, Internet content filters for children, back-up and restore options and PC performance enhancements, McAfee's Falcon suite is available to customers on a subscription basis. McAfee Total Protection is offered for $79.99, McAfee Internet Security Suite is available for $69.99 while McAfee PC Protection Plus and McAfee VirusScan Plus can be acquired for $49.99 and $39.99. As a part of Falcon, McAfee is also providing customers with Wireless Protection, a product that presents only firewall features for as low as $29.99. All prices represent annual subscriptions.

With our new suites, McAfee arms consumers with improved and new technologies protecting them from traditional threats," remarked Marc Solomon, Director of Product Management at McAfee.
