Toronto mayor Rob Ford has allegedly been caught on tape smoking crack in a house that is in known as a place where drug transactions and use often take place.

The video of the incident is not available, but the Examiner writes that members of a gang dealing with drugs have been trying to sell it to media outlets.

The men have reportedly been asking $20,000 (€15,100) for the damning evidence to Ford's drug abuse.

However, one of the people involved in this transaction, who remains unnamed has been killed in a nightclub shooting in what appears to be a gang execution.

In the video posted above, John Cook, an editor for Gawker describes seeing a man looking remarkably like Ford smoking from a crack pipe in the elusive clip.
