The application promises an enhanced web navigation experience

Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices interested in trying out a new web browser in addition to the Internet Explorer already available for them can now download and install Maxthon.

The application made it to the Windows Phone Store this week, promising a great web navigation experience to all those who would like to take it for a spin.

The Maxthon Cloud Browser comes to Windows Phone devices with features and capabilities that resemble those available for Windows users.

In fact, Maxthon notes that the new application builds on the expertise that its developers already have, and that it will deliver a great out of the box experience, ease of use, and high performance capabilities.

Furthermore, the mobile browser promises a series of features that aren’t available in other similar applications, all destined to enhance the web browsing experience of all Windows Phone users out there.

Some of the main features that the new app release comes to handsets with include support for cloud services to make multi-device web easier, a new way of enjoying tabs on Windows Phones, support for Live Tiles, and a pop-up Address Bar.

Basically, which the Maxthon browser, users can:

- Sign in with a free Maxthon Passport account and sync your favorites online, and to other devices using the Maxthon Cloud Browser on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac.

- Easily view, and move forward and backward between your tabs.

- Access search and the address bar when you want it. A simple gesture causes it to pop-up.

- Maxthon has taken its famous "Quick Access" feature and reinvented it for Windows Phone. Easily pick, apply and access live Windows 'tiles' right from Maxthon's "Quick Access" feature.
