Today, Maxthon rolled out a fresh beta for their web browser, bringing the build number to 4.2.0.2200. The new revision integrates a few new features along with some fixes.

The developer announced that this build had support for enabling or disabling the Popup Blocker on specific websites. Additionally, it adds support for HTML5 Media Source Extensions and it can automatically import the guest account data when the user registers for a fresh account.

As far as fixes are concerned, this beta build of Maxthon does away with occasional improper functioning of the boss key when enabling full screen mode.

One stability problem has also been repaired; it referred to some plugins leading to memory leaks.

Furthermore, the developer informs that alerts for content being in Chinese when it shouldn’t, as well as tabs closing automatically after downloading in Retro mode, should no longer concern users.
