Maxthon 3.4.5.600 Beta Released

It’s been a while since we’ve seen an update for Maxthon Browser, either the stable or the beta release. Things just changed, as the developer rolled out a beta revision for the browser.

The new build is 3.4.5.600 and, contrary to our expectations, it includes mostly repairs and improvements rather than new features. The only new thing available is the Certificate Management in Maxthon Options.

Fixes address problems ranging from high system resource usage, freezes caused by right-clicking on a selected long form or browser crash caused by Reader Mode to reversed tab order when viewing the last session and a crash linked to Print Preview function.

Improvements touch on the saving feature of Developer Tool, Night Mode effect on some websites and scrolling efficiency on pages jam-packed with images. Memory usage of Quick Access has also been improved.
