The latest stable version of Maxthon does not introduce any new features or options. Instead, it focuses on mending problems affecting the Webkit core.
At the head of the repair list in
Maxthon 3.3.3.1000 stable are some crash and jQuery related problems, which have been eliminated. Additional mending touch on freeze problems with smooth scrolling enabled.
On the same note, in some cases, images in web pages could not be displayed. This should no longer occur in the new version of the web browser. Also, on some websites requiring a third party component to display the content correctly, the “missing plugin” prompt would not be shown.
Another issue corrected in this build touches on opening related reading pages in the RSS Reader.
