Sound bar audio systems seem to have been one of the hottest products at CES 2011 (well, at least as far as HDTV accessories are concerned, to be perfectly clear), quite a lot of companies coming up with such products, including here Maxell, who's introduced a whole new lineup consisting of products of this type, called Acoustabar.

Designed to accompany modern widescreen HDTVs, the new Acoustabar systems come equipped with a built-in subwoofer and genuine hardwood enclosures, as well as an easy hook up design and built-in wall mount.

The first Acoustabar model is the 32-inch Eht model, that offers multi-channel surround sound via the all-in-one, 10-speaker acoustic system, and also offers fast and easy connectivity to any TV set.

Next in line comes the Maxell SD320 model, a 32-inch All-in-One Home Theater Surround Sound Bar System equipped with SRS 3D WOW technology, as well as 5 drivers and dual sub-woofers, whose combined power reaches 430 watts.

The SD320 also comes with a Power Bass Compression Engine for enhanced low-frequency performance, an iPod dock that also offers charging capabilities and extensive connectivity options.

The flagship model of Maxell's new Acoustabar series is the 32-inch SD-400 All-in-One Home-Theater System, that supports multiple audio inputs through a two-channel speaker output system and also comes equipped with SRS 3D WOW technology.

Moreover, the SD-400 offers a built-on iPod dock and connectivity to any TV, DVD player or game console, meaning that it offers users quite an impressive level of versatility, which is certainly something worth taking into account when shopping for a new audio system.

Unfortunately, Maxell's not providing any pricing/and or availability info for the new Acoustabar products, but it's quite likely that the company will come back with these important pieces of information when the sound bars will actually go on sale, at some point over the course of 2011.
