Rockstar promised Max Payne fans that it would launch a mobile game for both Android and iOS platforms. However, the company only released the iOS version, which is now available for download through the App Store.

Even though Max Payne Mobile for Android devices has been originally slated for an April 26 release, Rockstar delayed the release of the game claiming more testing is needed in order to bring the title on as many Android phones and tablets as possible.

The company also promised Max Payne would be out in a week or so, but it appears that it took them more than two weeks to launch the game in the Google Play store.

Rockstar has just confirmed Max Payne Mobile for Android will be available for $2.99 USD via Google Play store, beginning June 14. Check out the list of supported Android devices here.
