Rockstar Games has published a brand new batch of screenshots from the upcoming Max Payne 3 shooter, depicting the protagonist in an array of firefights and poses, both in his traditional style, as well as in his grittier, bald version.

Max Payne 3 is set to appear in March, 2012, with Rockstar's various internal studios working hard to deliver a faithful sequel to the first two Max Payne games that released back in the early 2000s from Remedy Entertainment.

We've already seen a trailer appear for the upcoming title, as well as a pop-up version, with more details about the shooter, so the fresh batch of screenshots found below are certain to get many Max Payne fans even more interested in the third iteration of the series.

The images depict Max with his trademark dual wielding of weapons, while engaging in some fierce firefights, and even trying out the Bullet Time mechanic, resulting in some pretty violent deaths for his enemies.

Expect more details about the game to appear in the near future. Until then, check out the screenshots below.
