In mid-December 2009, Sarah Jessica Parker took some time out of her busy schedule of being a full-time mom to new twins and a dedicated actress, to appear on David Letterman for promotional purposes. Also then, she brought a first picture of the twins, which is also what husband Matthew Broderick did last night on Ellen DeGeneres, as MonstersAndCritics informs.

The actor, now promoting his upcoming indie film “Wonderful World,” showed a picture of the two girls, Tabitha and Marion, from when they were about four months old. He then went on to confirm what his wife said in the older interview, namely that the twins are as unidentical as two identical twins can actually be.

“The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star shared a snap of the girls, Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, on The Ellen DeGeneres show today. And he joked that the pair did not look that alike. The proud dad said: ‘They have very different hairdos, each of them. They’re incredibly cute. They’re bigger than that now. I think they’re about four-months-old [here].’ The girls were born to a surrogate mother in June 2009,” the aforementioned publication says.

Host Ellen would not let this grand moment pass without chipping in, so she offered Matthew a gift for his girls, one that would befit the daughters of trendsetter Carrie Bradshaw. “TV host Ellen then gave him miniature pink and red high heels and handbags as gifts for the tots. She joked that the babies would soon need somewhere to put their pacifiers [dummies] – and said the items were ideal for the daughters of fashion-conscious Parker, 44,” the e-zine further writes.

As we also informed you back in December, the honor of introducing the twins to the world fell upon their mother, Sarah Jessica Parker, who said she now felt her family was complete at last. Also then, SJP insisted the two girls were already starting to show their true character and that here, too, they were as different as they were when it came to their looks.
