- Matt LeBlanc tells paparazzi he'd do “Friends” reunion movie
Television series “Friends” ended in 2004 but, to this day, it's still considered one of the best sitcoms ever made. Fans have never stopped hoping – and praying – for a reunion movie and, as it turns out, neither did Matt LeBlanc.
TMZ paparazzi caught up with the actor the other night and, since he'd just won a Golden Globe at Sunday's awards ceremony, they also asked him about another successful show: “Friends.”
His answer was, “I wish... I could use the money.”
Granted, chances are that Matt was joking, especially since he doesn't need the money given that his new show, “Episodes,” is doing really well.
However, the fact that he's not entirely opposed to the idea should count for something – one can't but imagine what it means to fans.
Check out the video below and let us know in the comments section whether you'd still be game for a “Friends” reunion movie after all these years.
OMG they should do the reunion. I would love to see friends on the big screen. I absultly loved their TV show. I wish the would go on air again and make new shows or do the movie. I have no dought that people would want to watch the show or movie. I know I would love to see it. And if I get to see the cast members there for the movie I would die.
