Jennifer Lopez stopped by Matt Lauer the other day for an interview to promote her latest show, the talent competition Q'Viva! The Chosen, which she created with soon to be ex-husband Marc Anthony. Check out the video below to see it in full.

Lopez doesn't really talk about her private life these days, after announcing the divorce from Marc. She tells Matt that the first post-interview she gave to Vanity Fair contains all she had to say about the split.

She also explains why she doesn't find it impossible to continue working with the man she chose not to grow old with.

“Marc and I were friends before we got married. We were friends for years, and we always loved each other. And we always worked together, so it wasn’t an unnatural thing for us to continue working together,” she says.

This is not to say that they have it very easy or that they don't fight, but they give it their best to make sure it works.

“And, obviously, we have children together, so it’s not going to be like he’s not in my life. He’s always going to be in my life,” Jennifer says.

Speaking of children, the singer insists that her twins are actually no different from other kids of 4 – except that they live in a bigger house.

“I loved my upbringing. I’ve tried to give them the same thing, just in a bigger house. The same family, they grew up around their cousins and their aunts, just like I did. The same foods, they eat the same foods I did when I was growing up,” the diva says.

“You know, I try to just keep what was so good about growing up Puerto Rican in the Bronx, lower middle class family. The same things, the same values that were important to my mom and my dad and what I’ve learned from that upbringing I’ve tried to bring to them,” she adds.

She also tells Matt that it's not time yet to think about marriage again, carefully avoiding a direct question about her current boyfriend, backup dancer Casper Smart, who's almost half her age and who, because of it, has gotten plenty of media attention in recent months.
