The former 'Friends' star and his wife are finally legally divorced. Matt LeBlanc and Melissa McKnight met in 1997, when they were introduced by actor Lou Diamond Phillips. After a 5-year-engagement, the two tied the knot in Hawaii and, less than three years later, last January, the actor filed for divorce citing 'irreconcilable differences'. A couple of days ago, the actor said that, considering that they signed a prenup before the wedding ceremony, he would be representing himself in court. Fortunately, the case did not call for such extreme measures, as both parties reached an agreement that suits them perfectly. Matt is to pay an alimony to his daughter with Melissa of $18,000 a month and education and medical costs for her, until she's 18. After that, he will continue to support his child (who suffers from a brain disorder) in college and pay all her bills. Melissa, as the prenuptial contract stipulated, gets nothing from the divorce, except for the undisclosed amount she got when she signed it. Both parents will share the custody of the child. Presently, LeBlanc is linked to his 'Joey' co-star Andrea Anders and rumor has it that she might have been the reason that the actor filed for divorce in the first place. But 'the dissolution is amicable [and] they remain devoted parents and friends', the actor's publicist told 'People' Magazine. Well, that's a first...
