Though they are mostly known for their big budget, generally serious, big screen productions, the two Hollywood heavyweights currently have their eyes set on a project of a smaller scale, but with large potential.

Damon and Affleck are said to be currently working on a family sitcom that will be called “More Time With the Family.” It's going to star comedian Don Papa as a family man who doesn't get to see his family enough, so he's forced to get a complete overhaul of his life.

The project originated from Papa and Damon, but Affleck, a close friend of Damon's, quickly joined in as a producer. At the moment, Damon and Affleck are acting as executive producers, with Cathy Yuspa and Josh goldsmith as writers and producers.

General reception of the sitcom has been, so far, positive, and CBS has even ordered a pilot to be filmed. For Affleck, this will be the second pilot of the season, after he's already been commissioned to start his crime drama, “Middle Men” on Fox.

Meanwhile, Damon is going to be promoting his upcoming film “The Monuments Men,” in which he stars alongside George Clooney in the WW2 black comedy/drama.
