For those who simply want a tablet to browse the internet, watch a video and listen to some music, Matrix One has a surprise that is now available in stores. The new tablet doesn’t come with a quad-core CPU, but it packs enough performance to make the Android 4.0 ICS operating system feel welcomed.

The new tablet is called Matrix One MTX1 and is powered by a fast 1,5 Ghz ARM Cortex A8 processor.

There are two different performance/storage options. For $89 (€73), the user gets 512MB of RAM and a 4GB storage space, and for just $40 (€32) more, he will receive the 1GB RAM model featuring 16GB of storage space.

The new tablet comes with a 2MP camera and a full-sized USB slot along with a HDMI connector.
