Indie developer Stellar Jockeys has just put its upcoming action-strategy game Matador on Steam Greenlight, in order to gain some traction for the upcoming launch planned for this summer.

Matador is an isometric vehicle combat game that offers fast-paced gameplay and a variety of tanks, mechs and hovercraft with an assortment of weapons loadout that offers different play experiences.

Levels are procedurally generated, and gameplay is focused on short and intense battles with randomized faction and enemy spawn points and completely destructible environments.

There will be no saving, and permadeath will allow players to evolve their strategies and become better and better while they try to clear the city of opposing forces.

As can be seen in the reveal trailer, the game features a strong visual style and engaging gameplay, and its small units, futuristic cityscape and isometric perspective hints a bit at an old classic, Syndicate.

The team intends to have an Early Access version available around March, and interested gamers can check it out on Steam Greenlight.
