Because superheroes and award shows go hand in hand, this year's MTV Movie Awards previewed a TV spot for the new Michael Bay-produced movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” that has fans waiting on the edge of their seats.

The new TV spot does reveal some new footage, but, for the most part, it's stuff you've previously seen in the original trailer. After viewers were able to see the rebooted version of the half-shelled superheroes, it was time to reveal the man, or better yet the rat, that trained them into the ninja turtles they are today.

Master Splinter appears for a brief moment, although he does the narration for the entire video, telling the turtles to fight always as brothers. The actor behind Splinter is Danny Woodburn who used motion- capture technology to bring him to life, while the voice was provided by Tony Shalhoub.

Meanwhile, the turtles are played by Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello) and Pete Ploszek (Leonardo). Since the first trailer for the movie came out, Johnny Knoxville has been announced to star as the voice of Leonardo.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is currently undergoing reshoots and is taped for release on August 8, 2014 in the United States.
