BioWare has confirmed that last weekend’s multiplayer challenge for Mass Effect 3 – Operation Broadside – has failed, as players weren’t able to complete 400,000 successful matches against the Reaper enemy faction.

Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode has attracted many players thanks to its top-notch gameplay and the array of weekend challenges that were issued to them.

Sadly, last weekend’s Operations Broadside challenge wasn’t successful, as BioWare confirmed this by posting an announcement on BSN.

It seems that players didn’t manage to complete the community goal of 400,000 successful matches against the Reapers, so rewards won’t be handed out.

Unlike the previous failure, however, this one doesn’t have a bad side, so players won’t encounter stronger foes in their next matches.

Expect to hear about the next multiplayer challenge for Mass Effect 3 next week.
