BioWare has once again talked about next week’s Mass Effect 3 game and how its ending had already being discussed for quite some time, so players shouldn’t worry about their adventures ending suddenly and without an explanation.

Mass Effect 3 is set to end the trilogy of games that starred Commander Shepard. We’ve already learned plenty of details about its story, its gameplay, as well as its cooperative Galaxy at War multiplayer mode.

BioWare, its developer, has also discussed many of the game’s aspects, from character interaction to how it introduces new players to the wealth of adventures that have already been featured in the previous games.

Now, BioWare Co-Founder Dr. Ray Muzyka has talked about the ending, saying that “Pretty much everything that people want to see wrapped up, or to be given answers, will be.”

The executive also highlighted the fact that the Mass Effect team had been together for many years and that the trilogy’s end had been discussed for quite some time. As such, players won’t see a simple black screen instead of a conclusion for their adventures.

“The team has been planning for this for years, since the beginning of the Mass Effect franchise,” Muzyka told Penny Arcade. “Largely the same team, most of the same leads have worked on this for years and years. They’ve thought about [the ending] for years and years. It’s not something they’ve had to solve in a week or a month even, but over the course of five or ten years.”

Muzyka also shared his own experience with the game’s ending, saying that, “I just finished an end to end playthrough, for me the ending was the most satisfying of any game I’ve ever played… the decisions you make in this game are epic.”

Players will finally be able to try out Mass Effect 3 next week, on March 6, in North America, and March 9, in Europe, for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
