BioWare has confirmed that the upcoming Mass Effect 3 edition for the Nintendo Wii U would also include the previously released Extended Cut DLC, meaning players will experience right from the get-go the enhanced endings of the game.

The Nintendo Wii U is set to receive quite a few big games at its launch, including Mass Effect 3, which already appeared on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 back in March.

According to BioWare’s Mike Gamble, via Siliconera, the game’s Wii U version will include previously released DLC like the Extended Cut, meaning players will benefit from the enhanced endings when they’ll eventually complete the game.

"The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead," Gamble said. "You won't have to download it."

It’s expected that other DLC, like the array of multiplayer add-ons, will also be included in Mass Effect 3 for the Wii U but Gamble declined to confirm this.

You can expect to hear more about the Nintendo Wii U and its launch games as we get closer to the end of the year.
