BioWare has just revealed Operation Detonator, the latest weekend challenge for the multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3, tasking players with successfully detonating 20,000 points worth of Biotic Explosions.

Mass Effect 3's multiplayer became a huge success after the game was released back in March and BioWare has kept players interested in it by offering free DLC and lots of weekend challenges.

Now, the studio has confirmed that this weekend will be host to Operation Detonator, in which players need to earn 20,000 Biotic Explosion points on any map at any difficulty, according to its blog.

In order for the points to count, players do need to kill the enemy with an explosion, but they can accumulate them across matches, so you won't have to worry about finishing the challenge in one session.

Operation Detonator starts today, November 30, at 10am PST and ends on December 3 at 9am PST.
