Mass Effect 3 is seemingly "Better with Kinect Sensor," at least according to a leaked cover of the game's Xbox 360 version, which popped up on the official EA online store.

Mass Effect 3 is set to be one of the most eagerly awaited role-playing games of the next year, promising to finish the trilogy of titles focusing on Commander Shepard.

The game was recently delayed, so that the developer, BioWare, could focus more on delivering a true RPG/shooter hybrid, at least in the words of its published, Electronic Arts.

Now, the EA online store has seemingly leaked a very important feature of the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3.

The listing for the game, spotted by a NeoGAF forum member, included a cover that boasted a unique mention, saying that Mass Effect 3 is "Better with Kinect sensor," a label given to regular games that can use the Xbox 360's recently released Kinect motion detection peripheral.

The cover was quickly replaced with a regular Xbox 360 one, without the Kinect mention, but the image file is still available on EA servers, meaning that it's going to be used soon enough, perhaps after the Microsoft E3 2011 conference next week, when the company is expected to showcase plenty of great things about its record breaking Kinect.

BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk talked about the Kinect and the implications of motion controls in the Mass Effect franchise last year, saying that his team is exploring the possibility of incorporating gesture-based controls into the gameplay, but only if it makes sense and doesn't pull the player out of the actual experience.

Another leaked cover, this time for Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, also had the Better with Kinect mention, so perhaps Microsoft is going to unveil a whole range of upcoming games with support for its motion sensor at E3.
