BioWare has confirmed a brand new multiplayer challenge for Mass Effect 3 owners, in the form of Operation Savage, which tasks them with killing over 7,000,000 trooper-level enemies and completing matches with different types of alien characters in their squad.

Mass Effect 3 came out back in March and the game is still quite popular thanks to its multiplayer mode, where players work together in order to defeat waves of enemies during online matches.

In order to make the multiplayer experience that much more rewarding, BioWare has kept on organizing special challenges that tasked players with completing different types of objectives.

Now, for the upcoming June 22-24 weekend, the studio has confirmed a new challenge – Operation Savage.

As always, there are two goals, with all players needing to kill over 7,000,000 enemies of trooper level, while teams need to complete matches by using different alien characters.

“With so many planets conquered in Council space, we are relying on material support from the Terminus Systems. Eliminating risks to our supply line is a top priority,” BioWare said.

Allied Goal: Eliminate 7,000,000 trooper-level enemies: Cerberus Assault Trooper, Husks, Cannibals, Geth Troopers Squad Goal: Extraction on any difficulty with the squad using a mix of krogan, vorcha, or batarian classes Special Circumstance: None

As always, completing the Allied goal means players get a special Victory Pack, while achieving the squad goal nets them a Commendation Pack.

Operation Savage begins this Friday, June 22, at 6pm PST and will end on Monday, June 25, at 4am PST.

If the operation is successful, the packs will be delivered by players on the evening of Tuesday, June 26.

Like with previous challenges, Operation Savage is available for Mass Effect 3 players on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
