After hearing that the Mass Effect 3: Earth multiplayer DLC will be released next week, on July 17, thanks to a listing from Microsoft, more details about the add-on have just appeared on the web, detailing every new character included in the expansion.
Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode received two big downloadable content packs since the game’s release, in the form of the Resurgence
ones, which added new characters, weapons, and gear.
Now, the biggest DLC pack of them all, Mass Effect 3: Earth, has been leaked once again, after hearing a few details last month and getting a July 17 release date yesterday.
According to these leaked descriptions, which were uncovered on BSN
, six new human characters are added to the multiplayer mode, each with different abilities and unique appearances, so check them out below.
(Adept) N7 Fury: Throw, Annihilation Field, Dark Channel
Fury: "Fury operatives use implants to fuel biotics and their incredible movement speed. These operatives wind an unpredictable path on the battlefield, moving in and out of combat before returning to unleash a sweeping biotic attack on their unsuspecting targets."
(Soldier) N7 Destroyer: Multi-Frag Grenade, Missile Launcher, Devastator Mode, T5-V battlesuit
Destroyer: "The Destroyer's T5-V Battlesuit gives these strong-but-slow soldiers mech-like protection. Driven by eezo-assisted actuators, these frontline troopers carry heavy weapons onto the battlefield."
(Engineer) N7 Demolisher: Homing Grenade, Arc Grenade, Supply Pylon
Demolisher: "The Demolisher uses grenades to attack at range and to terrorize the battlefield. Demolishers can also create a supply pylon that stocks allies with an unending reserve of grenades and thermal reloads."
(Sentinel) N7 Paladin: Snap Freeze, Incinerate, Energy Drain
Paladin: "The Paladin carries a powerful omni-shield onto the battlefield to block enemy fire. The Paladin also uses the shield as a heavy-melee weapon that, when modified with incendiary or cryo upgrades, creates a devastating combination attack."
(Infiltrator) N7 Shadow: Tactical Cloak, Shadow Strike, Electric Slash
Shadow: "Shadow infiltrators use implants to dramatically improve agility, making them slippery combatants on the battlefield. Their monomolecular blades are a menace from cover and close range."
(Vanguard) N7 Slayer: Phase Disruptor, Biotic Charge, Biotic Slash, has a sword
Slayer: "Slayers use implants to dramatically improve mobility. Their dizzying sword attacks can hit multiple opponents, and the Slayer's ability to slip fire makes them hard to pin down on the battlefield."
Besides adding all these new characters, plus new maps and weapons, Mass Effect 3: Earth DLC also brings, according to the report, a Platinum difficulty mode that joins the Bronze, Silver, and Gold ones.
Expect the Mass Effect 3: Earth add-on to appear on July 17. Until then, check out images with these new classes below.
