The Mass Effect 3 demo has finally received a release date, thanks to a new trailer that shows off the game’s Kinect features on the Xbox 360 console.

Mass Effect 3 is the last chapter in the trilogy of role playing shooters that focus on Commander Shepard, so you know that millions of fans from all over the world are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the game in March.

Until then, BioWare, its developer, promised to deliver a demo, with both single-player and multiplayer gameplay, this month.

It seems that the studio won’t be keeping its promise, as a new trailer that focuses on Mass Effect 3’s Kinect support mentions that the demo will appear on February 14.

This is a bit peculiar, especially since the demo is supposed to unlock items in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a game that appears on February 7, in the U.S., and February 10, in Europe.

Expect an official announcement about the Mass Effect 3 demo soon enough. Until then, check out the video with its Kinect features above.
