Blu-ray discs have just begun to penetrate the market, and there are already some people contemplating the idea of mass copying them. Well, I know what you're saying, this kinda smells a bit like piracy, and you're right, it does, but nevertheless, this piece of hardware is quite impressive. What we're dealing with here is a huge replicating machine, created by Microboards technology and dubbed the CopyWriter Blu-Ray (although the name “Blu-ray Tower” sounds a lot better, don't you think?), which includes up to 10 recorders.

What's so great about this machine? Well, first thing's first, it's working
with Blu-ray discs, which sport a huge storage space, of up to 24GB per disc. And that's the reason why the CopyWriter Blu-Ray comes with a built-in hard-drive that allows for image archiving of up to 25GB. Moreover, the device is quite easy to control via its 5-button control interface, which provides both basic features, as well as advanced features for the pro-users.

Here are some of the most important features and specifications of this very interesting device:

- Dimensions: 42.55 cm x 19 cm x 62.33 cm;
- Weight: 26.31 kilograms;
- Power source: 400W;
- Compatible disc formats: BD-R/BD-RE and DVD+-R/RW/DL;
- Features a hard drive for standalone BD/DVD image archival;
- Can store multiple hard drive images;
- Automatically detects BD or DVD masters;
- Features a simulation mode to ensure recording stability;
- One-touch duplication;
- Supports writing to BD-R/BD-RE and DVD+-R/RW/DL;
- PC or Mac interface: USB 2.0.

No word on the pricing yet, but it's quite sure to attract quite a number of customers, whatever its final price tag might be. Why? Well...we've provided you with a hint at the beginning of this material.
