Masked Michael Jackson and a Mysterious Visit to the Doctor’s

Just a few days ago, we were telling you about Michael Jackson’s odd appearance at a Hollywood music store, where he picked up his own CD, and how that got people talking about some mysterious condition that was slowly consuming him. On this note, his outing of the other day does nothing but pour fuel on the fire that is already burning hot, especially as it was a visit to a Beverly Hills clinic.

Michael Jackson has been a rare presence on the showbiz scene for some time now, and, quite frankly, few are the things that still manage to strike the public as odd. However, his latest choice of headwear plus full-face mask combo could not have but got tongues wagging on what it is exactly that hides under all that cloth. His visiting a doctor, of course, sparkled rumors of a disease and/or more plastic surgery.

Several media outlets are reporting that, though relatively brief, the visit to the doctor’s must have been of the utmost importance, judging by the way the star was rushed to the waiting car by his bodyguards, and then whisked away to an unknown destination.

With all that, Michael still found some time for the fans who had heard of his outing, and were waiting outside, screaming his name. Sources say that “the Gloved One” even stopped and spoke to a couple of them, all the while signing as many autographs as he could.

As reported before, Michael’s movements are closely scrutinized in the media, and it’s not always for the weird factor that this happens. One of the reasons for which people continue to be fascinated with him, and consequently want to know all there is to know, is that a much-hyped and long overdue follow-up to the 2001 “Invincible” album has reportedly been in the works all this while.

Naturally, his covering his face like this only contributes to people’s fascination with him. Sadly, this also makes rumors of a mysterious, but reportedly terminal disease spread like wild fire in the media. So, keep an eye on this space to see what becomes of them.

He's been wearing a mask since the late 80's. It's nothing new.
When you've got people in your face all the damn time & get no privacy, it's no surprise he'd want to cover himself, and so what if it looks "wierd" - get over it. After he had his wisdom teeth removed, his dentist gave him a surgical mask to wear for keeping germs out. He liked it so much, he just carried on wearing them. He hates people looking at him, add to that all the name-calling the media love doing; "freak", "weirdo", etc, to take the piss out of a person for something they can't control, he's very shy, self-conscious.

As for health, well he's supposedly had "6 months to live" for the past 15 years or so.

And as for releasing a new album ... Michael has nothing left to prove. He's made some of the most brilliant music. If he releases more music, it'll be when he wants to, because he still has a passion for it. He never needs to work another day in his life, he's proved himself & will all be a genius & legend.

Journalists must be very bored ...

If the rumors are true,,If he has a terminal lung disease the most prudent thing he must do is cover his nose and mouth from pollutants ....HELLO the mask!!!..

looking back on this article from a couple of months ago,he was propbably in this clinic undergoing those medical tests he had to do before signing the contract for what we now know is the tour in london :) - from what i know medical tests before a tour are pretty standard for most artists before a company commits to signing them for a contract/tour etc- so nothing abnormal here then, just the media putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5!
