Mary Kate Olsen broke the silence and spoke about her split with Stavros Niarchos for the first time. She admitted the break up tore her heart apart, and that she is now trying to move on.

America's W magazine quoted her as saying: "It's a hurtful and painful subject. I've pretty much been with someone my whole life, so this is a hard time for me."

Stavros Niarchos had started going out with Paris Hilton while he was still with Mary Kate, and many believe that it was the socialite who stole him from Miss Olsen.

At least from one point of view, Mary Kate is doing just fine: her appetite.
The actress had been struggling with an eating disorder in 2004, which she finally managed to cure. And now, Mary Kate is so happy with her new-found curves, that she is giving her clothes away. The ones that no longer fit, that is.

The actress gained approx. 15 pounds (6.8 kilograms), so she decided to get rid of the skinny wardrobe, by donating it to West Hollywood, California thrift store "Out of the Closet", a charity shop that benefits AIDS research.
