Marvel’s Avengers Initiative Arrives on Select Android Devices

The mobile game features the promotional price of $4.99

Owners of select Android devices can now purchase the Avengers Initiative mobile game from Marvel, as it has made its official debut in the Google Play Store with the promotional price tag of $4.99 attached to it.

This is the first installment of the company’s cross‐over mobile gaming event, providing users with the possibility to engage in fights as Hulk.

The first episode of the series has been specifically designed for touchscreens, promising an experience unlike any other before.

“Track down and defeat some of the world's most notorious villains like Wendigo, Abomination, The Kronan, and The Skrulls, and help THE AVENGERS pull the world back from the brink of catastrophe,” the game’s description reads.

The story begins with the releasing of super‐powered criminals and monsters into the world after The Vault, a top‐secret S.H.I.E.L.D. facility in the Rocky Mountains, has been busted open.

“Aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Nick Fury recruits a reluctant HULK to round up all the monsters he can while S.H.I.E.L.D. can assemble the rest of THE AVENGERS to figure out who opened the doors to The Vault‐ and why,” Marvel explains.

Users will enjoy a complete gesture-based action game with great visuals and amazing special effects, the possibility to fully customize Hulk and further enhancements with continuous updates from Marvel.

Furthermore, the title will deliver a better gaming experience on NVIDIA Tegra Super Phones and Tablets, courtesy of added TegraZone game enhancements such as improved character textures, realistic clothing, lifelike environments, and Iso-8 effects.

At the moment, the mobile game is available for devices such as HTC One X, HTC Evo 4G, HTC Incredible 4G, LG G2x, LG Nitro HD, Motorola Droid 3, Motorola Atrix 4g, Motorola Photon Q 4g, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy SII, Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Asus Nexus 7, Asus Transformer Prime, and Asus Transformer.
