14 DAY TRIAL // Marvel fans rejoice, as the company has just announced that it will launch a new game with superheroes this year on mobile devices.
The new mobile game will be developed by DeNA and will be launched sometime in 2015. It will be free to download but will feature in-app purchases.
According to developers, Marvel Mighty Heroes will be available in Android smartphones and iOS, including iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone.
This is the second Marvel-licensed title developed by DeNA, as the company is also known for Marvel War of Heroes, a tactical battle game.
Being a superheroes game, players will be able to choose their favorite Marvel comic book character and build their dream-team and try to overcome any challenges thrown at them.
The game will feature both Superheroes and Supervillains, each with his/her own skills and special abilities, such as smash, shoot, clobber and blast.
Both co-op and competitive multiplayer will be available in the game
Marvel Mighty Heroes is a co-op brawler, but it will also allow players to compete against each other and earn their ranks on the leaderboard. It will also provide players with the option to play together with friends to save the world.
Among the most beloved Superheroes and Supervillains players will be able to pick in this game, there are Iron Man, Groot, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Spider Man, Star Lord, and Hulk.
“Building off of the success of Marvel War of Heroes, our first Marvel-licensed title, Marvel Mighty Heroes is a fast and tactical battle game that will combine evolving Marvel stories with enthralling co-op and competitive multiplayer gameplay.
