The development team at Gazillion Interactive announces that its Marvel Heroes MMO is updated to version 2.3, which means that gamers are now able to take part in the all new S.H.I.E.L.D Holo-Sim gameplay mode and that Daredevil has received a new design.

The biggest change is the new experience that gamers can access, which is described as “Alone or with a friend, players are tasked with completing specific objectives, smashing hordes of enemies, and defeating iconic villains in order to continue to the next wave. The further players progress, the greater the challenge, the bigger the reward!”

Gazillion Interactive is not yet offering a list of all the items that gamers can gain by playing S.H.I.E.L.D Holo-Sim, so it seems that fans of the superhero game will have to actually play in order to see what they can earn.

The horde experience has become very popular among gamers in the last few years because it allows them to explore complex challenges without having to deal with a human enemy.

The design review for Daredevil is described as being comprehensive and the team explains that gamers can now “utilize Daredevil’s new combo system to unleash devastating finisher moves and his new Ultimate power, ‘Man Without Fear’, to greatly enhance the combat abilities of allies and dispense a frenzy of enemy obliterating martial attacks alongside Elektra.”

Gazillion Interactive uses each game update to focus on one hero offered in Marvel Heroes and evaluate his powers and abilities, making sure that it updates them in order to offer a new play style to gamers and eliminate problems that the community has signaled.

A new Noir costume for the character is also offered, allowing fans of the comic book universe he is part of to experience one of his more recent incarnations.

The hero line-up offered in the Gazillion title includes Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, Loki and Captain America, but also a number of more obscure characters from the extensive Marvel universe.

The studio makes money by selling various cosmetic changes for the characters and a number of gameplay boosts, but a player can easily satisfy his MMO and superhero craving without spending one dollar or Euro.

Gazillion Interactive says that it has long-term plans to add new areas to Marvel Heroes after it completes the expansion of the currently available Asgard and that it will also explore the possibility of adding more game modes.
