The development team working on the upcoming Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth at Ubisoft Quebec says that the game will be designed with motion tracking in mind, but that the team will offer options for those who want to use a traditional method to play it.

A representative announces at the New York Comic Con that the Nintendo Wii U version of Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth will get a touchscreen-only control system linked to the GamePad.

The team says that it will be perfectly suited for a second player, although it is unknown whether a gamer playing solo will also get access to it.

The Wii U version uses Wiimote and Nunchuk as core controls, and on the Xbox 360 players will use the Kinect motion tracking system.

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth arrives on the Xbox 360 on November 9 and on the Wii U when the console is available in the various territories.
