Every once in a while, Google likes to have famous authors come round the Googleplex and talk to some Google higher-up for the delight of the Googlers gathered there.
This time around, Google's Marissa Mayer, who's official title is VP of Product Management, but who oversees anything having to do with 'local' at the company, welcomed Martha Stewart who was there to talk about her latest book, "Martha's Entertaining: A Year of Celebrations," but also about technology in general.
"Martha hosted me most graciously in her studio last December, so my team and I were delighted to welcome Martha to Google last Friday as part of our Authors@Google series," Mayer
wrote.
Now, the entire hour long conversation is available for everyone to see, on YouTube where else, so you can check it out for yourself. Or check out the AtGoogleTalks channel for more authors, bands even chefs that have visited Google.
