14 DAY TRIAL // Here’s a celebrity couple even more unlikely than Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent. Domestic goddess Martha Stewart is currently dating Saturday Night Live head writer and star Seth Meyers, it has emerged.
They may be 32 years apart and they do have different interests, but they also have a lot in common, which is leading Martha to believe that the romance actually stands very good chances, The National Enquirer reports.
The fact that Seth has been on her show quite a lot lately would also suggest some kind of romantic liaison, the tab believes – and it even has a “source” to confirm it.
“Seth has been on Martha’s TV show four times and they’ve grown to like each other a lot. They crack each other up – and right now, Martha needs to laugh,” an unnamed insider claiming to be well in the know with Martha’s personal life, says for the publication.
Because of how dire Stewart’s finances and personal life have been as of late, she sees Seth as a breath of fresh air because he reminds her how to laugh and just have fun.
“Her company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, posted a first-quarter loss of $7.1 million, and her ex-boyfriend, 62-year-old Microsoft billionaire Charles Simonyi, has had a baby with his new bride,” The Enquirer writes.
Simonyi ended the 11-romance with Martha at the beginning of 2008 without offering a reason for it, and almost immediately got married and had a baby with another woman.
This definitely took a toll on Martha’s usually upbeat attitude. Luckily, she recently met Seth and she’s learning how to smile again.
“The only bright spots for Martha recently have been the birth of her granddaughter Jude – the baby her daughter Alexis had through a surrogate – and Seth. Martha definitely has a crush on Seth,” adds the source.
As expected, The Enquirer doesn’t have official confirmation of the so-called romance (or not even something close to ti), so you should consider taking all of the above with a grain of salt.
